But This Worked Yesterday ...

"But this worked yesterday" is something curly haired people say all too often.  We get lucky every once and a while and have GREAT hair days, but when we have bad hair days ... it's a complete and utter disaster!  Hair commercials make it so hard to be a curly haired beauty.  Yes, of course in commercials they show the "before" and "after" picture of the hair product that will change your life ... but I would like to say LIES, all LIES!  One- if you step outside and there is a whistle of wind, goodbye perfect hair.  Two- not all of us are trained hair stylists.  I struggle to put my hair in a pony tail so I have a 1 in a million chance of making my hair look good, but I am getting better!  Three- how many hours did it take for you to do your hair, and what time are you getting up in the morning?!  I'm lucky if I have 30 minutes in the morning before I leave for work, and the first 10 minutes I'm awake are designated to making my coffee and jumping down my Fathers throat, followed by 5 minutes of apologies for my mood before coffee.

So, since I'm down to a solid 20 minutes to shower and get ready before work, I've started using sea salt spray.  Amazingly I've found that I'm having more good hair days than bad!

I've only tried a few sea salt sprays, and below are the ones I've used.

My favourite sea salt spray is Got 2b Beach Trippin' Salt Solution Waving Spray.  I've read reviews on this product and they're mixed with good and bad responses.  In my expereience, and with my wavy/curly hair, this product makes my hair look beachy and beautiful while leaving it smelling like the ocean!

I love using sprays to curl my hair naturally.  Gel or moouse tends to weigh down my hair and make it crunch!  I also would like to make my own sea salt spray, so I'll be researching mixtures and hopefully trying soon!

Happy curling!

Cheers,

Bhreagh
