Volleyball has been a constant love in my life for almost 15 years.
I played varsity volleyball for four years at Cape Breton University. It was recently announced that the women’s volleyball program will be cancelled due to budget constraints. It’s shame that a program with so much community spirit and involvement will be cut. It is a very sad day for volleyball in Cape Breton.
I can’t put into words the impact this program has had on my life. Claude and Rob, our passionate and intense Coach’s, devoted themselves to CBU volleyball for an exceedingly long time. I thank them for everything they’ve done for me, my teammates and for Cape Breton volleyball.
CBU has made me strong, fierce and proud. Cape Breton is in my blood and I am forever a CAPER!
