I managed to only pack half of my suitcase before leaving for Europe. This meant one thing- I would shop like I've never shopped before. Beginning this Europe adventure in Glasgow was brilliant! Not only is there a place called the shopping mile but the length of this shopping area equates to substantially more than a one mile. I felt as though I was in a dream! We were in Glasgow from Friday to Monday morning. Here, I met up with two friends (Megan and Brittni)- one who recently moved to Glasgow for university and one who moved to Stirling for university.
On Monday morning Brittni and I met up with my best friend, Kristie, and took the train to Stirling! This picturesque town is located in-between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and is so quaint and beautiful I felt like I was in a movie. We wandered down to the Bridge of Allan Brewery and tasted some delicious raspberry cider then sauntered back to Brittnis room to pack up (Stirling is where she goes to university). After this quick trip, and by quick I mean 4-5 hours, we headed to the train station and made our way to Edinburgh.
Edinburgh was more than I expected. The buildings have such detail and the cobble stone roads made me feel like I was in a old and historic city. We toured, saw a castle and wandered the streets taking endless pictures. Although we didn't have a lot of time in Edinburgh, I'd say we made the most of it!
After Edinburgh we headed to London, where my camera was dead the entire time. The pictures above are just a snap shot of the hundreds of pictures taken in Scotland. My friend, Kristie, took beautiful pictures with her brand new camera. All the pictures above are mine and were taken with a small point-and-shoot camera, but I'm hoping Kristie will let me steal some of hers for a blog post!
Cheers,
Bhreagh
