After two full days of driving, two hotels, and countless trips up and down the elevator, I am ALMOST settled into my cute Mississauga apartment! My new best friend is Ikea, and I've purchased these three products for my bedroom- here, here and here- and a microwave stand for my kitchen- see here. I'm still waiting for a mattress, but in the mean time my air mattress is doing the trick! When I'm finished furnishing and decorating my bedroom and apartment I'll be sure to post pictures and do a short apartment tour.
I attended my PR Orientation at Humber College, met a few classmates, got some free Humber gear and took a campus tour. From what I gather it will be an intense, fun, and very fast-paced year. The campus is very easy to get aroundI'm excited to start classes and be a "normal" student, meaning I won't have to rush to volleyball practice and have sore muscles and bruises all the time.
I can't wait to start exploring the city and being a typical tourist! If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do or see, I would love to hear them!
Cheers,
Bhreagh
