This past week I've been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I have an undergraduate degree but am not sure what to do next. More school, new career, move cities? There are so many options for career choices, for example I could be skydiving instructor. Of course this should be a career where the instructor doesn't have a terrifying fear of heights, so I will likely choose a something that can be done on solid ground. Needless to say life can be stressful, and trying to CHOOSE your life and career path is mind boggling. How are you supposed to know at age 23 what you want to do for the next 30+ years of your life? I'm lucky to have grown up with supportive parents who always told me that if I worked hard I could achieve anything. Because of this, along with my education and interests, I know what I like and can cross specific things off my potential career path, like a skydiving instructor.
Today, I read a cute article titled 67 Things I Wish I'd Known At 18 and found it to be hilarious and informative. After worrying about what schools to apply to, were I want to live and if I really want to move to a new city all alone, this article made me smile and gave me a sense of "fearlessness" for what's to come. I highly recommend reading it, click here for the link.
