While travelling I managed to read two books- The Fault In Our Stars and Divergent. It was, in part, due to the numerous flights and trains we took to get to our destinations, but it didn't hurt that the books drew me in from the first chapter and kept me up later than my friends just to read.
The Fault In Our Stars, by John Green, was the first book I read while away. This book made me, the ice queen, feel emotions and cry! Yes, I was leaking from the eyes but it was because the story was so heartfelt and touching. John Green does an excellent job combining tragedy, humour, love, and throwing in a few twists along the way. The Fault Of Our Stars centers around two teenagers, Hazel and Augustus, who meet in a support group for youths who have been diagnosed with cancer. Some are going through chemotheraphy and surgeries, some are in remission and throughout the book we learn many participants of the group have passed away. As you can probably guess, Hazel and Augustus fall madly in love. Without giving anything away, I will say this is a MUST READ for anyone looking for a heartfelt and loving book.
Like a lot of excellent books, The Fault In Our Stars is currently being adapted into a film that comes out in June. Take a look at the trailor below. If you don't feel emotions then maybe I'm not the ice queen I think I am.

To say I'm excited about this film is a complete understatement. I'll be first in line with a box of Kleenex and an excessive amount of junk food, and there will be a bottle of wine waiting for me at home.
